Hi, my name is Michelle, I’m a mother, a wife, a full-time employee, activist, and story teller. I will be your guide as we stroll along, sipping coffee, talking about life, and smelling the flowers.
It’s a new year and a fresh start. I did a lot of daydreaming over the winter holidays of the things I want to accomplish this year. So I finally took the plunge and decided to start a blog to satisfy a dream of writing. I hope I can spread love for the things that I enjoy and create with you. Other goals include keeping my car clean, exercising more, and following our family budget (not as much fun).
One of my favorite topics is my garden. I’ve created a garden in every home I have lived, apartments, houses, rentals, and even in the desert. The Garden of Aquarius encompasses the philosophy of practicality and beauty. This is the mission
I plan my garden to meet certain needs all while being practical. Flowers and food growing in harmony. Both creating a food source for human, bird, and insect.
That practicality runs over into our household management; cooking meals with real ingredients, growing what we can, buying only what we need, and saving money for the important experiences in life.
Are you ready to learn how to live a practical life in an urban homestead?
Let’s enjoy the good things in life. Like coffee, especially coffee. Coffee at a sidewalk cafe in Amsterdam.
Welcome to the Garden of Aquarius.
Heads up: My posts may contain affliate links. If you buy something through one of those links, you won’t pay a penny more, but I’ll get a small commission, which helps the flower fund. Thanks!
Thanks for coming, take a look around the Garden’s many nooks. Don’t be shy.
I’m a new blogger using Siteground for building my blog and hosting. I love how easy they have made it extremely easy to build a website from the ground up. I was up and running the same day. If you choose to go with Siteground by using the link below, I will earn
And I will spend it on flowers…..more and more flowers. Thank you for coming by.
